Looking at the Software

OCZ have upped their game, too, with some nicely designed software to accompany the mouse. The user interface isn't cluttered too much and the menus are intuitive; it's the kind of software you just know works well when you use it.

Macro recording dominates the left hand side of the menu, a useful feature that can assign a pre-recorded macro to either of the side buttons. This of course changes depending on which colour pre-set you have selected, giving you up to six assignable macro buttons in theory.

The colour pre-set menu is in the top right and has each tab underlined with its associated colour, making it intuitive to use.

Underneath that is a command menu with lots of built in functions ready to drag and drop into place; with the option to import, export, create and delete more macros.

Hiding in the very top right we have the DPI adjustment menu, allowing you to change all four DPI presets to your desired levels and independently scale x and y if you wish it.

Once you have the mouse set up to your liking, it has a very smooth and homely feeling to it that makes it easy to get used to. The weight adjustment system underneath also means you can tweak it until your hearts content.
