Introduction

When we first had a look at the Sunbeam Cold Cathodes last year we came to the conclusion that they were a fantastic piece for anyone interested in case modding. Over the past couple of months case modding has grown larger and larger. These days when it comes to purchasing yourself a new computer people are as concerned with what case to get as well as what video card, processor, etc. Due to the large growth in this area more and more products have entered the market - some make a new trend, with others still hiding in the corner of a computer shop, Sunbeam are one of those companies who keep bringing out more and more case modding products.

It is obvious to most people that case modding is becoming a big thing as far as computer systems go these days, there are places all over the world that solely specialize in the modding of cases, as a business. The original idea behind case modding was to help cool your system down. This was done by cutting holes for fans on the front, rear and top of your case, this in the end was drawing more air into your system hopefully resulting in the end a drop in temperature giving overclockers the chance to push their processors higher. People then found out by adding a neon to the case, you can add a whole new dimension to it, good cooling and great looks, following this the inclusion of windows and ever since then we have had a snowball effect happening to the market. We now have devices giving you the ability to slow down and speed up fans, brighter lights and colored fans. Thanks to Sunbeam Tech we are going to have a look at them all today, along with a few extra goodies.
