The LAN

Above we have a modified XPC by the guys from PCMarket in Sydney. They spent around two weeks modifying the system to fit a Swiftech watercooling unit into the XPC itself. Quite an impressive effort I might say.

Here Sylvia from Shuttle HQ in Taiwan gave her best at learning how to play a first person shooter - in this case, Quake 3 Arena. "Just run around and look for someone to kill!" - No longer only the line of an axe murder, it seems.

Around about a month ago Shuttle announced their new line of XPC LCD monitors to team up with their popular XPC small form factor systems. I had a quick chance to play with one of their monitors and early impressions were good. The monitor I tried supported a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 60Hz which is pretty much standard for this size LCD monitor.

The monitor is very light and I can see many gamers who already own an XPC system choosing to buy a Shuttle XPC LCD monitor for the ease of carrying around the house and to LAN parties such as this one.
