Introduction

Contrary to popular belief, running your own tech website is not an easy task. People tend to believe you can simply register a domain name, find a host, whip up a design and throw a couple reviews up and start earning big cash and get free hardware, it's simply not the case, not by a long way. This article takes a look at "The Day in the life of a Webmaster" from when you wake up to when you go to bed, with all the nitty gritty details of managing and operating a tech website such as TweakTown. I'm not trying to scare you off starting a tech website, I'm just showing you what is involved in running your own tech website, with the good and bad times.

This article goes to show that running your own tech website is not easy, you are faced with pressures which can make life hard, but there are also good times with great benefits which even everything up - it's like a "real" job only you usually work from home. I hope you enjoy it, it's too the point and very true...It will give you a good idea in what is involved in running your own tech website, particularly at my age (17), maybe you'll now realise that running a tech website is not as easy as everyone seems to think, especially when still completing your education. When you first start a website it seems really easy, then your site (hopefully) gets bigger and more popular and you find yourself making important choices you never would have seen your self making and slowly spending more and more time on it, even up the point of 10 hours plus a day, every day not just Monday to Friday.
