Nehalem loves getting the chills

From what we've all heard and seen of Intel's upcoming Nehalem platform thus far, there's certainly a lot to look forward to. Further to the list of goodies on the way, the crew at Nordic Hardware have sourced both exclusive images and details pertaining to Nehalem's overclockability.

Yep; that's a pair of 4870 X2s on that there Nehalem! A match made in heaven?

Whilst we have seen no real conclusive results showing how high the first batch of processors can be pushed, apparently Nehalem handles sub-zero temps extremely well, so well in fact that a Core i7 chip was taken all the way down to -120°C using liquid nitrogen and no ugly cold bugs or anything of the kind were spotted.

The test was performed on ASUS' P6T Deluxe which we managed to get a glance of just recently. While there's no performance data or clock frequencies pulled from the test, this juicy bit of news will have extreme cooling users enthralled by the overclocking possibilities Nehalem has in store.
