They have gotten hold of two slides which indicate two CPU models to be used for AMD UVC, these being an Athlon X2 3250e operating at 1.5GHz with a TDP of 22W and an even lower powered single core Athlon 2650e chip at 1.6GHz with a TDP of just 15W.

As reported, some of the noteable features of UVC include :-

* Cost optimized solution: Low power processor enable new form factors and a lower bill of materials

* The PC experience users expect: More than Nettops and Netbooks, AMD UVC offers traditional PC performance, it will be paired with AMD 690 or AMD 740 chipset for a high quality visual experience

* Standard platform infrastructures: The two CPUs that are part of UVC use socket s1g1 for notebooks and AM2 for desktops, this enables a better time to market and lower development costs
