Creative to surprise with new breed of X-Fi?!
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAJust a quick heads up for those in the market for a discrete sound card, you may like to hold off just a wee bit longer as Creative have a new X-Fi lined up for release come this Wednesday.
Apart from knowing of its existance and release date, no other information about the actual card has been disclosed yet. In a perfect world it would boast native PCI-E, DD-Live, DTS Connect, both optical and coaxial S/PDIF, HDMI out with bitstreaming of HD audio (Dolby TrueHD and DTS MA) etc. but somehow I doubt it.
