No stranger to the cooling solution scene, Thermaltake is claiming a world's first achievement today, having brought customised 'DC inverter type micro refrigeration cooling' to the PC chassis.

We gave Thermaltake's offering, a first mention, back in June this year.

Likened to an air conditioning system for the PC and, utilising R-134a as its refrigerant, the company claims to exceed the performance of liquid cooling, by some 20 Degrees Celsius, whilst quoting an astounding 40 Degrees Celsius margin against air cooling.

Whilst it is only compatible with a handful of motherboard solutions from the likes of ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI, the 'Intelligent IC controller' works to prevent condensation issues and also varies the speed of the compressor, based on CPU load.

The Xaser VI chassis appears to house Thermaltake's ingenuity perfectly, allowing for plenty of scope and cooling potential, whilst the system is self contained and gives a true prim and proper appearance to the whole contraption.
