SilverStone makes clearing CMOS a breeze

If you're an addicted overclocker, always trying to push your rig that bit further, you'll know that one of the biggest headaches is having to get into your case and reset the CMOS when something doesn't play ball with your newly saved settings. It is becoming a bit more common that board manufacturers offer a simple reset CMOS button on their upper-end enthusiast boards, but many good overclocking boards don't either.

SilverStone has come to the rescue here, offering their new SST-CLERACMOS device which is essentially a PCI bracket for one of your expansion slots with a nice big reset switch externally attached and three female sockets for the pinouts on your motherboard internally.

Quite a simple yet nifty little device which has you thinking "why didn't someone think of this before?". There's been no mention of price nor availability yet, but you wouldn't expect it to be much more than $10 or so.

Thanks goes to Hardware Secrets for the heads up.
