Gearing up in advance for the launch of Intels next-gen Nehalem platform in November, OCZ has today launched a range of new triple channel memory kits for the X58 chipset, each comprising three modules in either 3 or 6GB configurations.

OCZ Technology Announces Availability of the World's First Triple Channel Memory Kits

The new lineup of triple channel kits include OCZs Gold series modules, offered in 1333MHz and 1600MHz speeds with latencies of 9-9-9-20 and 8-8-8-24 respectively. Also available is the Platinum series 3 and 6GB kits, rated for speeds of 1333MHz at tightened timings of 7-7-7-20.

All modules across the lineup are designed for their rated speeds with a voltage of 1.65. You can read more about the new triple channel lineup from OCZ in the press release here.

"OCZ engineered these 3GB and 6GB kits specifically for Intel's imminent platform," commented Dr. Michael Schuette, VP of Technology Development at OCZ Technology. "By using special-screened, low voltage-capable ICs, these modules are the perfect complement for the Intel® X58 Chipset to deliver the maximum performance by enabling low latency settings and higher system frequency."
