Gainward makes an impression on AMD

By: (more) | Posted: Nov 6, 2008 6:18 pm

Gainward may be the upcoming apple of AMD's eye, according to this report from Fudzilla.

Gainward makes an impression on AMD

Sunnyvale, CA based AMD, is eager to rustle up more competition amongst its AIBs and challenge the predominance, of its premier partner, Sapphire Technology.

Whilst being the runners up when it comes to sales figures, AIBs such as PowerColor and HIS are small and unable to mount the level of competition that AMD would like.

In comes Gainward. As a part of the Palit group, it has the capability to stoke up competition amongst AMD's AIBs and this is something the company is, apparently, eager to generate.
