ASUS working on Foxconn exit from retail markets?

According to this report from Fudzilla, new indications have emerged, suggesting that ASUS is involved in convincing Foxconn to play its hand sooner, rather than later.

This could be, it is believed, sufficient leverage to convince Foxconn to trade with ASUS and give up its own aspirations to dominate the enthusiast market, whilst strengthening its OEM business further.
