Another Shanghai support update; Tyan has announced a total of 23 current mainboards and one new mainboard with full support for Shanghai.

This follows the announcement of general availability of the new AMD 45nm quad core Opterons and a list from MSI of mainboards with AM3 support.

TYAN offers 23 current and 1 new platforms that will support the enhanced Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ processor. Customers can upgrade to the new Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ processor in TYAN's current platforms without extra validation costs or additional hardware changes. For new platforms, TYAN launched the TYAN S4992 motherboard that will target high-end HPC and workstation users.
