This report from HARDSPELL intimates that Intel, is contemplating an extension to the life cycle of its LGA775 CPUs, thereby covering presence in the entry-level marketplace.

Apparently, the Santa Clara, CA based company will also make select enhancements to certain Intel 4-series based chipsets to enable, a 2011 phase-out of its LGA775 socket.
