CoolIT launches Domino liquid cooling system

By: (more) | Posted: Dec 18, 2008 1:33 pm

CoolIT Systems has just unleashed its latest liquid cooling system for CPUs which it calls the Domino Advanced Liquid Cooling (ALC). The unit is quite compact and installs internally to a 120mm rear exhaust outlet along with an innovative retention mechanism for simple installation.

The Domino ALC is compatible with all current Intel and AMD processors including Core i7. There are multiple operation modes available depending on whether you want a quieter or more powerful cooling arrangement. Either way, a micro-controller auto-regulates the unit to ensure everything is operating properly and effectively.

Another nice touch is the LCD display panel which provides both audio and visual alerts if something's amiss, but this system is designed to offer maintainence-free operation for years on end.

One of the best features of the Domino, however, is the accompanying price tag. CoolIT has introduced it to market at an MSRP of just $79. If you're a little skeptical of how well it cools given its budget price tag, you can read our exclusive full review which has just been published here.
