GeForce GTX 295 and 285 launch dates confirmed

For those of you wondering when exactly the new GeForce GTX 295 and 285 graphics cards will see the light of day, the wraps will be taken off the dual-GPU weilding beheamoth this coming thursday (when CES'09 kicks off), whilst the refined 55nm single GPU GTX 285 card won't show up until a week later; January 15 to be exact.

Running back over some of the specs confirmed for these two cards, the GTX 295 runs its two GT200b cores at 576MHz, 480 processing cores at 1242 MHz and the 1792MB of GDDR3 memory at 1998MHz. It has a 2x448-bit memory interface and also boasts quad SLI support.

 

GeForce GTX 295 and 285 launch dates confirmed

 

The single GPU based GTX 285 runs its core clock at 648MHz, whilst the 240 processing cores and memory clocks operate at 1476MHz and 2484MHz respectively.
