Best Buy (US) now offering Refurbished iPhones
Best Buy is now flogging refurbished 3G iPhones to US consumers. These iPhones (which were returned to the store less than 30 days from their original purchase) can be had for a $50 (US) reduction in price. That means that with a 2 year indenture you can pick up gently used iPhone 3G 8GB model for $149.99 and a 16GB for $249.99.
The announcement from Best Buy follows WalMart's announcement that they would begin selling the iPhone 3G for $197 (8GB) and 297 (16GB).
Best Buy has also made the statement that these prices will be extended to owners of the original iPhone who are eligible for an upgrade.
CNet has more here.

The move comes a little more than a week after megaretailer Wal-Mart Stores began selling iPhones at $197 for the 8GB model and $297 for the 16GB model.
Refurbished iPhones are also available from AT&T, the sole wireless carrier for the devices. Apple itself has also sold refurbished iPhones in the past, but a check of its Web site shows no such offers at the moment.
Best Buy representatives were not immediately available for comment.
