Up against the elitist sector of X58 motherboards that the ASUS Rampage II Extreme, MSI X58 Eclipse Plus and GIGABYTE X58-Extreme nestle into, eVGA is set to unveil its specialty known as the X58 SLI Classified, meaning they're yet to officially name its branding, which will possibly and most probably end up being FTW.

VR-Zone were lucky enough to score a sample of the flagship motherboard for preview and eVGA appear to have made sure there are no shortcomings this time around.

Along with the X58+ICH10R combo on this board resides NVIDIA's dedicated nForce 200 BR-03 bridge chip which handles the bandwidth across the four PCI-E x16 slots. Full x16 bandwidth can be provided across three slots for uncrippled 3-way SLI support or you can opt for a x16, x16, x8 arrangement, which then allows a fourth graphics card to be dedicated to PhysX acceleration tasks.

The board itself uses a digital PWM CPU power circuit and the components across the whole design are all top notch quality. Another nice touch is eVGA's Control Panel which is essentially a pop-out control and diagnostics card which allows you to monitor the health of the board via its DEBUG LED along with on/off, reset, clr CMOS and PCI-E disable functions.
