GIGABYTEs first AM3 motherboard spotted
The lads at Tech Connect have acquired a photo of the first Socket AM3 motherboard to come out from GIGABYTE. The GA-MA790FXT-UD5P is also one of GIGABYTEs first AMD motherboards that is built around their Ultra Durable 3 construction.
Features wise, this board carries two PCI-E x16 slots, four DDR3-1600+ memory slots, 10 SATA-II ports (six from the SB750 Southbridge and another four provided by an additional controller), two Gigabit ports, two eSATA connectors, 7.1 channel audio, FireWire and GIGABYTE's own DualBIOS setup.
It's expected the board will be launched somewhere near the end of Q1 and will likely be accompanied by two other slightly cut-down boards to kick off their AM3 lineup; the GA-MA770T-UD3P and the GA-MA790X-UD4P.
