MSI unleash AM3 motherboards with DDR3 support

MSI has just pulled covers from its latest AMD 790FX and GX powered motherboards supporting the AM3 (941-pin) socket, which is backwards compatible with current 45nm Phenom II processors.

The 790FX-GD70 is more so suited to gamers and enthusiasts who want to make use of Crossfire or CrossfireX via its four residing PCI-E x16 slots, whilst the 790GX-G65 includes the Radeon HD3300 IGP (with sideport memory) as well as two PCI-E x16 slots for the possibility of Hybrid Crossfire. Its IGP offers both VGA and DVI outputs as well as HDMI in the instance it's used in a HTPC.

Both motherboards feature DDR3 1333MHz memory support and boast a full set of features exclusive to MSI such as DrMOS, APS (Active Phase Switching), OC Dial and Max FSB.
