Step back in time - first ever Windows review

By: (more) | Posted: Jan 23, 2009 5:51 am

A dusty ole' review has been found which goes all the way back in time to when the first version of Microsoft's Windows operating system was about to be released; December 1983!

Step back in time - first ever Windows review found

The review first appeared in the 12/83 issue of Byte magazine. Reading it serves as a solid reminder of just how far we've advanced since the days when Commodore had IBM in a cold sweat. The way some of it reads is actually quite humourous and it's hard to believe we once treated such ancient and painfully awkward technology as being state of the art.
