The folks at Expreview have caught a glimpse of Galaxy's first "Green Edition" 9600GT graphics card. We first learned of these more efficient 9600GTs last month when specifications were leaked which showed a voltage reduction of 0.1 down to 1.0v and decreased GPU/shader clockspeeds to maintain stability.

Galaxy's 9600GT Green Edition card seen above includes Zalman's VF703 Al for its cooling power and has a 625MHz core clockspeed, 25MHz slower than standard 9600GT's but 25MHz faster than what the reference "Green Edition" cards were first said to use.

A particularly interesting feature of this card is a residing jumper on the PCB that allows one to change the core voltage down even further, from 1.0v to just 0.8v, should the user be wanting even less power consumption from the card. However, there's no information on whether or not this automatically drops the core/shader clock speeds further when doing this, but you'd imagine it would have to to retain stability.

The picture also indicates that 6-pin power is required for this card, but that may only be needed when the jumper is set for maximum voltage.
