Qimonda needs buyer by the end of March
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAQimonda memory is in serious financial trouble. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, they are going to cut production and if they cannot find a buyer by the end of March they might be forced to shut down.
The production cuts will be roughly 75% of normal values. Qimonda filed for bankruptcy protection on January 23rd and was denied rescue money after a deal with Infineon, Saxony and Portugal fell through.
Qimonda has had several negative quarters that have accelerated the problems they face today.
