EVGA gives its SLI owners better support

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: Feb 13, 2009 2:56 am

EVGA is now giving its registered NVIDIA SLI graphics card owners a free treat, something EVGA refers to as the SLI Enhancement Patch. As many of you know, for SLI to work in an optimized state for various games and 3D applications, "SLI profiles" at the software level are required. As these are unique to many game titles and the like, updating the profiles listing is required and this is something NVIDIA don't get onto straight away.

EVGA combats this by releasing the first build of its SLI Enhancement Patch (02.11.09) which is designed to be used in conjunction with NVIDIA's ForceWare 182.05 driver suite and is exclusive to EVGA card owners. It offers optimized support for the latest game releases such as Burnout Paradise and the Necrovision demo we mentioned earlier today.

EVGA has now released the first version of the EVGA SLI Enhancement! This unofficial patch enables temporary SLI support in the latest games. In order to quickly enhance SLI Profile issues that come up with any new demo or game release; EVGA has decided to publicly release this update to patch add any SLI profiles so you can take full advantage of SLI right now!
