New Encryption Protocol Announced
For those keen on keeping their data safe there is a new encryption standard out now.
The Key Management Interoperability Protocol was jointly developed by Brocade, EMC, HP, IBM, LSI, Seagate and Thales and should offer consumers and easier path to encryption key management.
The new protocol will be offered royalty free in an effort to encourage adoption across the market.
The KMIP protocol was submitted to the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards.
