Microsoft Launches SideWinder X8 Mouse
Microsoft announced Tuesday that the SideWinder X8 mouse would be available in stores this week.
The new SideWinder X8 finally cuts the cord with 2.4Ghz wireless functionality and the body of the mouse has undergone a mild redesign.

Aside from from the wireless addition, the new mouse also utilizes Microsoft's BlueTrack technology. This will allow the mouse to track on virtually any surface and will track between 250 dpi and 4,000 dpi.
Retail price for the SideWinder X8 will set you back US$ 99.95.
"Many gamers have long desired a wireless gaming mouse that doesn't compromise on performance, and Microsoft delivers with the SideWinder X8 Mouse," said Bill Jukes, product marketing manager for Microsoft Hardware. "Combining the best tracking performance available with an innovative wireless solution, this mouse will change the way gamers perceive wireless performance."
