Antec Introduces TruePower New PSU's

Antec annouced the TruePower New series of PSU's today. The new lineup is meant for mainstream computing but brings some of the high end features at an affordable price.

 

The TruePower New PSU's come with a PWM fan that runs up to 50% queiter than traditional voltage-controlled fans, high-quality Japanese capacitors, and DC to DC conversion for the 5V and 3.3V rails.

TruePower New power supplies are available in four models: the TP-550 for $119.95, the TP-650 for $139.95, the TP-750 for $159.95, and the TP-750 Blue for $169.95 which also features internal blue illumination.

The energy-efficient TruePower New achieves the rare 80 PLUS Bronze certification of at least 82 percent efficiency at a wide range of operating loads, lowering operating costs while protecting the environment. Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) also helps reduce electrical waste, boosting the TruePower New's efficient energy usage. The TruePower New series features a variety of industrial-grade safety circuitry to help protect your computer Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Current Protection (OCP). While maintaining features from past TruePower lines, such as Active PFC and Universal Input to automatically adjust for 100V to 240V power grids.
