Fudzilla says that Intel is pushing back the release of the Intel Core i5 processors and P55 chipset. It was originally expected that Intel would launch the new platform at Computex in June this year.

Now it appears that Intel is pushing things back, and rumors that have been heard include August, September, and October. Apparently Intel is doing some more for the to P55 chipeset and adding some of the features from the P57 chipset.

Of course at this point and time Intel can do just about whatever it wants. They aren't feeling much competition from AMD and the Core i5 doesn't seem to bring much to the table that Core i7 doesn't excell at other than being easier on the consumer's wallet.
