nVidia CEO says 9400M and Ion are the same

nVidia CEO, Jensen Huang made an interesting statement the other day where he included Asus, Apple, and Acer as ION supporters.

This was an odd thing to say as Apple does not make an Atom based product as far as I can see. Acer does and has an actual ION offering. Asus makes Atom Based netbooks and nettops but as of the last time I checked they had no plans to make an ION based product.

nVidia CEO says 9400M and Ion are the same

The blurry part is that in the same answer to analyst question, he tells that 9400M and Ion are the same chip, while we can directly tell you that Nvidia marketing and communication part advices people otherwise.

Jensen said „Apple, Acer and Asustek are huge Ion customers", and time will tell if Asus plans a secret Ion based product. Maybe he was thinking about Nvidia's 9400 chipsets that they are buying?
