Google To Reshoot All Japanese Street View Photos

Google has caused quite a stir the last year or so with their Street View service and this time around many in Japan are complaining about the images captured.

It appears that Google's high-mounted cameras that take the images are too high, thus allowing the cameras to snap images behind many walls and privacy fences. Many Japanese aren't happy about this and have compained to Google on the issue.

 

Google has responded and said that they are going to reshoot all of the Street View images from Japan. To solve the issue, Google is dropping all of the cameras a little bit so that they don't repeat the mishap.
