Music Industry still after The Pirate Bay

Ok, so the Music Industry hits the Pirate Bay founders with a law suit, they win this law suit (through some rather shady connections to the judge. They are awarded a large judgment and the founders need to go to jail for a year.

 

You would think at this point they would be happy. However as with many cartels and other greed motivated organizations they are not. Instead they want to fine the founders for every day that The Pirate Bay site is still up and running. This is despite the fact that the original judgment did not require it to be taken down.

IT LOOKS LIKE the music industry doesn't think it got enough out of the Pirate Bay trial and wants to have the three founders fined for every day that the site continues to operate.

 

According to AFP, Universal, EMI, Sony and Warner Music want their tame judge to fine Fredrik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg and Peter Sunde as long as their file-sharing catalogue website continues to function.
