NVIDIA always has to make a bit of a show, but like last years booth there wasn't a whole lot happening. However, what we did find was good nonetheless.
I know I am a big kid but I just had to have a go at the Stereoscopic 3D that was on display. When watching movies in 3D as well as games it was quite daunting to see flowers jump out at you in the movie or bullets fly at you in games, but I must admit I was taken by it.
As stated ION was a big part for NVIDIA this year and they had a few motherboards using the Atom/ION combo on display. We have mini-ITX boards as well as Nettops from the likes of MSI and Acer soon to hit the market, all based on ION.
Moving over a bit more, we had at look at some Tegra products. Last year this product was announced and the only sample they had working was an MID. Today we managed to see a netbook running Tegra which was quite zippy with arm.
We also saw a few MIDs that will be making their way into the market very soon.
Lastly, a big group shot of some of the partners products that use either NVIDIA GPU/chipsets or support SLI.
We didn't see any NVIDIA chipset boards for Core i7 or i5 and it looks like NVIDIA hasn't gotten a licence yet.
