ViewSonic Launches Three New Widescreen LCDs

Display giant ViewSonic just released three new widescreen displays, providing a high-quality display at an affordable price.

The three new models cover the 20"(VG2027wm), 21.5"(VG2227wm), and 23.5"(VG2427wm) segments and all three are backed by a three-year warranty. While the 20" display only has a native resolution of 1600x900, the other two are capable of FullHD via their 1920x1200 native res.

 

All three of the monitors boast a 5ms response time, brightness of 300 cd/m2 , 1000:1 contrast ratio, D-Sub and DVI, and a two 2W speakers. ViewSonic says that the monitors will cost $319, $399, and $499 for the 20", 21.5", and 23.5" monitors respectively.

 

"We continue our prestigious 20 year long history in display technology and delivering high-quality widescreen LCD monitors with the addition of the VG27 series," said Jeff Volpe, vice president and general manager of ViewSonic North America. "With this line, government, education and corporate customers now have an affordable solution for displaying media."
