EVGA Launches GTX 285 Mac Edition

We've known for quite some time now that EVGA was working on bring the GTX 285 Mac Edition to the market and EVGA has finally launched it at this year's WWDC.

Specifications for the Mac Edition are identical to that of the regular version with stock clock speeds and 1GB of RAM. Even the reference cooler remains however it does say "Mac Edition" on the card to differentiate the card.

 

EVGA says that the card will be available from EVGA.com and the Apple Store starting today in case you just have to have it.

 

"EVGA is very excited to bring the EVGA GTX 285 Mac Edition to the Mac community," said Bob Klase, VP of Sales at EVGA. "By extending our line of high performance graphics solutions over to Mac, this ensures everyone can benefit from EVGA's unique products and services."

 

"With the EVGA GTX 285 now available for the Mac Pro, consumers can take advantage of our incredible GeForce and CUDA technologies running natively in MacOS or in Microsoft Windows under BootCamp," said Ujesh Desai, General Manager of GeForce GPU business at NVIDIA.
