the Xplorer X7-Xtreme S1 notebook is powered by the Intel Core i7 processor, Intel X58 chipset, and NVIDIA's GTX 280M GPU. The base model starts out with a Core i7 920 CPU, but there are options for the 950 and 975 as well.

It also comes with 6GB of DDR3, a 17" 1920x1200 LCD, A/G/N WLAN, FireWire, 3.0MP webcam, Bluetooth, and HDMI. There are a ton of hard drive options from 5400 RPM SATA150 HDDs to MLC based SSDs and those wanting the HD experience on the go can add a Blu-Ray drive and X-FI audio.

The base model of the Xplorer X7-Xtreme S1 starts at $2335.00 but can easily go over the $4000 mark if you go for all the goodies. Check out the Xplorer X7-Xtreme S1 here.

At last, the hugely popular Intel Core i7 CPU and X58 chipset has made its way to the notebook platform. The Xtreme S1 notebook gives you the best of both worlds with the raw power found on current i7 desktops and the mobility and portability of a notebook. Combined with Nvidia's GTX 280M, the Xtreme S1 allows gamers to frag away at the most graphical intensive games without skipping a beat. The Xtreme S1 is perfect for professional graphic designers yet ideal for LAN goers and students.

The Xplorer X7-Xtreme S1 comes preloaded with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium and can be ordered direct from CyberPower with further customizable options to suit your needs from the company web site.
