iPhone 3G S Users Complain About Battery Life

Just weeks after launching the iPhone 3G S, Apple is receiving numerous complaints about the battery life of the new phone.

iPhone 3G S Users Complain About Battery Life

Users of the new iPhone are having a lot of problems even making it through an entire day without the phone dying, forcing them to stop for a charge somewhere in the middle. Strangely enough, Apple touted the phone as having bettery battery life than that of its predecessors.

Those that have taken the 3G S apart have found that Apple decreased the battery size by about 15%. Something had to give to cram the new tech into the phone and it looks like the battery was about the only place Apple to free up some space.

Apple's response on the issue doesn't seem all that promising either. Instead of looking into the problem and finding a resonable issue for the shortened battery life, Apple is suggesting that users simply disable some features. This includes Bluetooth and the 3G network itself, which totally negates the purpose of having the 3G S iPhone in the first place.
