Google Chrome gets a few fixes today

By: (more) | Internet Browsers News | Posted: Jul 17, 2009 10:17 pm

It seems to be a week for browser updates. Google just announced one for their IE alternative Chrome. The fix is a pretty serious one and covers issues with the way Chrome handles Tabs.

The main issue is one that is so serious that Google will not release full details on it just yet. There are also fixes to the javascript engine (of course), navigation features, updates to Google Gears and a fix for an issue where an attacker can force the tabs to crash opening a hole for code to be executed with the same privileges as the logged on user.

Google highly recommends grabbing the updates as soon as possible.
