Fry's stocks Core i5 750 a little early
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AALooks like someone might have jumped the gun a little bit. Fry's has begun selling the Lynnfield Core i5 750 CPU.
Now this is very interesting as Intel has not official launched the Core i5 line nor have they launched the P55 chipset to support it. It sounds like someone got their NDA dates all mixed up and pushed the wrong item out to the website and added the item in stores.
According to reports Fry's is now saying that the CPUs are actually in stock and this is not a pre-order setup.
