Microsoft wants to help you throw a Windows 7 Launch Party

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Sep 3, 2009 2:17 am

I know that you are all interested in throwing a wild party the day that Windows 7 Launches.

This is the same thing that Microsoft wants too; but what it more they are willing to help you do it.

To get involved is simple; first you have to have no life. If you already to have one you need to dump it off somewhere for a while and not check up on it.

Next you need to head over the Microsoft's Houseparty site. Yes I said house party, I know Microsoft and houseparty should never be used in the same sentence but...well there you have it.

Anyway once you do get there (after you are done laughing about it) you simply find your region and apply to host a Windows 7 launch party.

If you are selected MS will cover the party favors give you a Special Edition of Windows 7 and even enter you for a prize. The prize is a $750 laptop.

Woohoo!
