Today in console land Nintendo let Yoichi Wada, the CEO of Square Enix slip details of the next generation of the Wii.
According to Wada (why does that not sound right) the next generation Wii (Wii II?) will have graphics that are on par with the PS3 and XboX 360. He also went on to say that the current motion control efforts of Sony and MS will not be successful against the Wii.
The reason for this is that by the time Sony and MS have finished figuring out how to poorly market these, Nintendo will have something better in their console offering.
In other words MS and Sony will be playing motion control catch up in the same way that Nintendo is playing graphics catch up right now. The difference is that Nintendo does have experience with making consoles with amazing graphics. Anyone remember the N64?
