GIGABYTE extends Super Overclock series w/ GTX 275 variant

By: (more) | Tweaking & Overclocking News | Posted: Sep 22, 2009 9:55 am

GIGABYTE recently kicked off a new series of highly clocked graphics cards using a cherry-picking method for its GPUs and some other component enhancements to sustain much higher than typical overclocks, thus the series is appropriately dubbed "Super Overclock".

The first model to have been released in the series comprises a GTX 260 based offering which we have in our lab and will get our review of it online very soon.

Now a second card enters the Super overclock lineup which is based on the next model up from NVIDIA, the GTX 275.

The GV-N275SO-18I features a 2oz copper PCB, Japanese solid capacitors, ferrite core cokes and low RDS on MOSFET, it comes with a dual-slot cooler, 3-way SLI support, CUDA, PhysX, 240 Processing cores, a 448-bit memory interface and GPU, shader and memory clocks of 715 (633 MHz stock), 1550 (1404) and 2520 MHz (2268), respectively. The card also provides D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectivity, and should become available in the next few weeks.
