Windows Mobile 6.5 - push aside and wait for v7?

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Oct 7, 2009 2:29 pm

A full blown review of Microsoft's latest Windows Mobile release, 6.5 has surfaced over at GIZMONDO and to say they're unimpressed is quite the understatement indeed.

Basically, what they're saying is that it's barely worthy as an update patch, let alone being given a whole new version number.

It's a superficial update, and not a very thorough one. It's an interim product, and a vain attempt to hold onto the thinning ranks people who still choose Windows Mobile despite not being somehow tethered to it until the tardy Windows Mobile 7 comes out, whenever that may be. And it won't work.

Plenty of pics (and disgust) throughout via the source link below. If the views shared here are in any way profound, look ahead to Windows 7 and hope MS pull their finger out.
