32nm dual-core Clarkdale Core i5 arrives Jan 3rd

Rumour has it that Intel is set to unleash its first 32nm dual-core Core i5 (Clarkdale) CPUs on January 3rd next year, just before CES fires up. The company expects the CPUs to be available to partners on that same launch day.

They plan to launch Core i5 6xx series, all clocked above 3GHz, starting with 3.2GHz with Core i5 650 and finishing up with Core i5 670 clocked at 3.46GHz. Don't forget that they all support Intel's Turbo feature that will get them overclock one or both cores and 3.46GHz CPU will easily go over 3.5GHz if not even close to 4GHz on some tasks.
