IPEVO whips out pen-style webcam on articulating stand

By: (more) | Cameras News | Posted: Nov 3, 2009 5:45 pm

IPEVO has announced a new webcam called the P2V that has one feature you don't see that often on a webcam -- an articulating stand. The stand can pivot at three different locations allowing the user to adjust it to just right height.

The average webcam can only be as tall or short as your computer screen making getting a nice shot a task in adjusting your LCD. Other than the adjusting stand, the pen-style webcam also sports 2MP resolution and it connects to your computer via USB.

The cam is compatible with your favorite IM apps like Skype, iChat, Yahoo and more. The little gadget also has a macro mode that lets it focus on things as close as 2-inches from the lens. Autofocus is also featured and can be turned off if the user desires. The P2V is available now for $69.
