GIGABYTE demo Core i7 870 running 4.4GHz with P55A-UD7

We gave you a look at the upcoming PCI Express o'plenty lane happy GIGABYTE P55A-UD7 motherboard with exclusive pictures earlier this week and now we just received an interesting YouTube link from Hicookie, GIGABYTE's master overclocker based at the headquarters in Taiwan.

The upcoming UD7 mobo from GIGABYTE adds in a stack of extra PCI Express lanes to elevate issues with the other P55A boards that do not have enough PCI Express lanes to run SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0 at full speed, with a card installed into the second PCI-E x16 slot.

The video demonstrates the P55A-UD7 along with an Intel Core i7 870 Lynnfield processor running at a very impressive 4.4GHz on air cooling using the popular Thermalright 120 CPU cooler. Hicookie commmented that with any $30 USD cooler, you should be able to reach 4GHz with ease.

We'll have this board in for review and testing before most and will report our own OC findings then.
