Team Group Launches X091 128GB USB Drive

By: (more) | Connectivity & Communications News | Posted: Dec 1, 2009 8:03 pm

Quick and Easy USB storage is becoming a popular item. And while there are no end of small medium capacity drives it can become annoyingly inconvenient to constantly have to search for the drive you need once you fill up your 2 and 4GB flavors. I can tell you from personal experience that having five of six 4GB USB drives is more of a hassle than they sound. Yes they can make it easy to transfer small files but anything over about 2GB in size (as many ISOs are) make them useless.

Thankfully there are a few companies out that are changing that; Team Group is one of them with their announcement of the new X091 128GB USB drive. This drive features a four channel storage layout that offers a theoretical speed of 30-34MB/s read and 25-31MB/s write. Team Group has also made sure that this drive will stand out with a sleek and cool design. The X091 will ship in sizes from 16GB to 128GB. At the time of this writing there is no word on how much one of these will set you back.
