With the roaring popularity of the Android OS for smartphones, it was only a matter of time until Google itself decided to make its own perfect Google Phone. The new phone is in the hands of testers now it seems and while they aren't leaking details (yet) pics are surfacing.

The handset has been spied in several photos around the net. It appears to be roughly the size if the iPhone and have a touchscreen form factor. Four navigation keys are arrayed along the bottom of the screen.

The thing looks like the HTC Passion but lacks the HTC brand. I guess HTC built-in and agreed to leave its name off. No word on hard specs at this time, but maybe we will find out soon.
