As you might expect the month of December will be full of rumors, news and announcements all leading up to the first big event of 2010 - CES.

In keeping with that tradition we hear that Asus is planning the launch of two new netbooks. These nice little devices will be the Eee PC 1005P and 1005PE. Both devices will have a 10.1 inch screen and a new 1.66GHz N450 Atom Pineview CPU. From there the two differ a little bit, but not much. The 1005P will come complete with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The 1005PE will have a 250GB HDD and Bluetooth to separate it out.

Both have recently shown up on a few e-tailer sites, complete with pricing. Unfortunately for the US these sightings have only been in the UK and Europe. Still I imagine these will show up in North America soon enough.
