OCZ adds TRIM support to Summit Series SSDs

OCZ has just brought TRIM support to its Summit Series solid state drives via a firmware update. OCZ says the new firmware restores heavily used Summit drives back to new condition by feeing up space and consolidating whole blocks of data.

 

 

If you're a Summit owner wanting to freshen up your drive and give it TRIM support under Windows 7, the new Summit 19C1 firmware upgrade and installation guide can be downloaded here folks.
