CES 2010 - If you can't tell by the fact that every other news post over the last week has been about something new, CES is here. As always at CES, there are hoards of new notebooks unveiled and Sony has pulled the wraps off several new machines this week.
Among the new machines are the Vaio Z series and the Vaio F series. The cooler of the two new lines is certainly the 13.1-inch Z series. The line has carbon fiber chassis for lightweight and sports a LED backlit screen with 100% color saturation on some models. The little machine can even be optioned with Blu-ray.
The Vaio F series is a much larger notebook with a 16.4-inch screen and a Blu-ray drive option. The machine has NVIDIA graphics and HDMI out. The F series uses Intel Core i7 CPUs and has a backlit keyboard. The Z series will start at $1900 and hit stores in late spring with the F series starting at $1000 and available for preorder now.
